  • Our programs are designed for everyone who wants to learn how to swim Swimming develops wonderful cardiovascular endurance, the most important key to physical fitness.
  • Swimming program should be regular and at balanced time intervals in order to alternate physical challenge to the body with rest. Regular training sessions decrease the time and increase the quality in learning to swim, as well as improve physical capabilities and fitness of the participants. While learning to swim, exercises and strokes are to be repeated numerous times, which lead to improvement of the swimming techniques, physical fitness, and improved functional capabilities? Systematic swimming challenges the cardio-vascular, respiratory, and muscular and nervous systems of the body. As a result, it promotes better physical development, healthier body, improved functional characteristics in the participants.
  • Learning of the swimming techniques and practice are the two integral parts of the swimming lessons. The both, learning and practice, are aimed at teaching the participants to different swimming techniques, bringing these techniques to professional levels, increasing physical capabilities of the swimmers. Introductory swimming practice is the first stage of the process of training and upbringing of the athletes. At this stage, learning to swim and introduction to the swimming styles along with the development of physical endurance, body coordination, flexibility, and speed are the main goal of swimming practice. Our swimming practice is based on the main principles of the physical education process: teaching, comprehensive development, recreational focus, systematic principle.

BEGINNER: AGE 6 – 8

Niki swim school 06The program is designed for very young swimmers who are interested in competitive swimming but may not be sure if it is really for them. This is teaching level where the main objective is to help perfect the fundamentals. The program offers an opportunity for the swimmers to improve their strokes and be exposed to the type of training that would take place in competitive swimming. Swimming practice should be regular and at balanced time intervals in order to alternate physical challenge to the body with rest. Regular training sessions decrease the time and increase the quality in learning to swim, as well as improve physical capabilities and fitness of the participants. While learning to swim, exercises and strokes are to be repeated numerous times, which lead to improvement of the swimming techniques, physical fitness, and improved functional capabilities. Systematic swimming challenges the cardio-vascular, respiratory, and muscular and nervous systems of the body. As a result, it promotes better physical development, healthier body, improved functional characteristics in the participants.

NOVICE: AGE 7 – 9

Niki swim school 08Novice level is aimed for one goal – oriented athletes, who will further improve. There swimming techniques and racing qualities. Of competitive swimming that is needed to progress to higher level. In this level swimmers will continue to refine the four competitive strokes and begin to develop the training background required for our Advanced and Elite group. Swimming practice should be regular and at balanced time intervals in order to alternate physical challenge to the body with rest. Regular training sessions decrease the time and increase the quality in learning to swim, as well as improve physical capabilities and fitness of the participants. While learning to swim, exercises and strokes are to be repeated numerous times, which lead to improvement of the swimming techniques, physical fitness, and improved functional capabilities. Systematic swimming challenges the cardio-vascular, respiratory, and muscular and nervous systems of the body. As a result, it promotes better physical development, healthier body, improved functional characteristics in the participants.

INTERMEDIATE: AGE 9 – 10 and AGE 11 – 13

Niki swim school 10Intermediate level is aimed for one goal – oriented athletes, who will further improve. There swimming techniques and racing qualities. Of competitive swimming that is needed to progress to higher level. In this level swimmers will continue to refine the four competitive strokes and begin to develop the training background required for our Advanced and Elite group. This is teaching level where the main objective is to help perfect the fundamentals Of competitive Swimming that is needed to progress to higher level. Swimmer training involves learning of mastering of advanced turns and stroke drills, basic race a strategy. In this level swimmers will continue to refine the four competitive strokes and begin to develop the training background required for our Elite group.

ADVANCED: AGE 8 – 10 (3 – 4 times Practice per week)

Niki swim school 11This is teaching level where the main objective is to help perfect the fundamentals Of competitive Swimming that is needed to progress to higher level. Swimmer training involves learning of mastering of advanced turns and stroke drills, basic race a strategy. In this level swimmers will continue to refine the four competitive strokes and begin to develop the training background required for our Elite group. Swimmers are willing to work hard daily, and, consistently, in order to achieve their high performance and their goals. Some of the athletes in this group are being introduced to the Provincial Level in swimming, and are working forwards developing skills that will allow them to compete at this Level.
